Claims of another park project land Tehran mayor in hot water

The story: Residents of the Iranian capital are up in arms after the surfacing of images showing a large section of the popular Laleh Park fenced off. Coming on the heels of major controversy over plans to build a mosque in an old park in uptown Tehran, the apparent endeavor has landed the hardline mayor in hot water once again. The city council claims to be unaware of any project while reassuring the public that no trees will be felled.
