Almost two years after her abduction by armed allies of Iran in Iraq, there are indications of light at the end of the tunnel for Princeton University researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov. Strictly speaking on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the topic, informed sources in Baghdad and Beirut have told Amwaj.media that an emerging “Iraqi” prisoner swap proposal could entail Israel’s release of captured Hezbollah fighters and a Lebanese marine captain in exchange for Tsurkov, an Israeli-Russian dual national.
