In the coming few days, Iran’s new President Ebrahim Raisi will submit his proposed cabinet to the parliament for a vote of confidence on each one of his nominees. Under the parliament’s rules of procedure, Raisi has two weeks to submit the list to lawmakers, who are then granted one week to assess and vote on the candidates.
