For most of the past two years, Iran’s main capital market—the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE)—has witnessed massive fluctuations. The turmoil has reflected concerns emerging from political factors, such as the future of the US sanctions regime, and also sudden shifts on other speculative markets, including foreign exchange, gold and properties.
