Pakistan, Saudi Arabia reset ties amid regional shifts

After being at a standstill for more than a year, relations between Riyadh and Islamabad are being reset. Accompanied by a high-level delegation, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in the Kingdom last week on the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (also known as ‘MbS’).

Emphasizing the need for deeper ties, MbS and Khan discussed ways to boost security and stability at both regional and global levels during a one-to-one meeting.
