Dr. Ali Mamouri is a Research Fellow at Deakin University. He previously served as strategic communication advisor to the Iraqi prime minister (2020-22). He is also the former editor of the Iraq Pulse at Al-Monitor (2016-23), and a former lecturer at the University of Sydney and the University of Tehran.
