Aisha Al-Sarihi

Dr. Aisha Al-Sarihi is a Research Fellow at the Middle East Institute (MEI) of the National University of Singapore. She is also a Non-Resident Fellow at Chatham House, the Middle East Council on Global Affairs (MECGA) and the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington (AGSIW). Her other areas of research include political economy, geopolitics, policy and governance of energy transition, climate and environment, with a focus on the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She has authored several publications, including articles in Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, Environmental Policy and Governance, Renewable Energy and Climate Policy journal. Her research has been featured in leading international media outlets. Dr. Al-Sarihi holds a PhD from the Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College London.
