New wave of Covid-19 engulfs Iran

The story: A fourth Covid-19 outbreak is engulfing Iran, with at least 193 people reported dead on Apr. 7 alone. The spike follows the easing of restrictions leading into Nowruz, the Iranian New Year holidays in March, which led to a 93% increase in travel across the country. With the situation in the capital Tehran deteriorating, the government is under pressure to implement a lockdown.
