The story: The Arab League summit in Saudi Arabia has been concluded with a joint declaration urging regional cooperation. The session stood out as President Bashar Al-Assad attended the annual meeting for the first time since Syria’s membership was suspended in 2011. Saudi Arabia also invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to attend the summit as the Kingdom positions itself as a conflict mediator.
