Perceived 'threats' against UN official cause Twitter storm in Saudi Arabia

The story: The UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary, or Arbitrary Executions, Agnès Callamard, has said that her colleagues previously perceived a death threat against her by a senior Saudi official. Callamard was tasked with investigating the Oct. 2018 murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident and columnist for the Washington Post. Riyadh has yet to comment on Callamard’s remarks, which were made in an interview with British media.
