Corruption top concern as Iraq set to receive vaccines

The story: The head of the Iraqi Parliament's Health and Environment Committee, Hassan Al-Khalati, has disclosed that the country will soon receive 1.6M shots of Pfizer’s covid-19 vaccine. The shipment is set to be delivered by the end of February. Khalati also stated that Iraq plans to import another 8M vaccine doses by April. Iraq had ordered the vaccines in December and originally anticipated their arrival early this year.
