Deadly building demolition renews focus on corruption, mismanagement in Iran

The story: The collapse of multiple buildings and a separate gas-related explosion at another structure in southern Tehran have claimed at least six lives, triggering public outrage. The incidents in the Iranian capital have highlighted disregard for safety standards, unregulated construction, and harm caused by the "construction mafia."
