Dismissal of industry minister renews focus on turmoil within Iranian government

The story: Iran's industry minister, Reza Fatemi Amin, has been ousted after a vote of no confidence in the parliament. This comes as President Ebrahim Raisi has dismissed several local managers in the oil-rich Khuzestan Province over their performance. The changes to the Raisi government are taking place as conservative control over the three branches of power has failed to address the country’s ongoing economic crisis.
