Does GCC reconciliation portend unity against Iran?

The story: Following the 41st summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ula governorate on January 5, the final communiqué of the meeting stressed unity and cooperation among member states, in a bid to end the rift between Qatar and the Arab quartet (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the UAE). The communiqué also stressed the importance of ensuring "security and stability in the region,” indicating a more unified and firm stance against Iran.
