Iran: 'We're prepared to stay in Vienna for as long as necessary'

The story: Amid the ongoing diplomatic talks in Vienna on the revival of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, Iran’s chief diplomat has asserted that a “good deal [is] within reach if the west shows good will.” This comes amid reports of apparent divisions between the Islamic Republic and European powers over the extent of the current round of indirect Iran-US talks in Vienna, which began on Nov. 29.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, informed sources have confirmed to Amwaj.media that there is tension over how long the ongoing round will continue, with one source saying that Iran seeks to conclude it with an understanding on a basic “framework.”
