Iran reaches out to holdouts as it insists on Muslim boycott of Israel

The story: Iran’s supreme leader has renewed his call on Muslim countries to boycott Israel and sever any ties with Tel Aviv. In an apparent effort to persuade holdouts, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also suggested that a temporary cut in relations with Israel would be the “least” such states could do for the Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Iran’s foreign minister says the US has been informed that the Islamic Republic does not want the Hamas-Israel war to expand.
