Deadly Iranian building collapse due to ‘corruption’ triggers protests

The story: The deadly collapse of a commercial building in the southwestern Iranian city of Abadan has raised questions about building codes—and their reportedly lax enforcement. As more bodies are retrieved from under the rubble, protesters have taken to the streets to demand accountability from the authorities.
