Iranian state-backed media decries 'sedition' as unrest grips Iraq

The story: Iranian state-affiliated media has strongly denounced the storming of Iraq’s parliament by supporters of Shiite cleric and politician Muqtada Al-Sadr, deriding it as "sedition" and demanding that security forces confront "rioters." Sadrists overran the parliament building for the second time in a week on July 30, denouncing the Shiite Coordination Framework’s prime minister nominee as Iran’s candidate. While state-backed media has denounced the unrest in Iraq, the Iranian government has called for dialogue among Iraqis and said that it is closely following developments.
