The story: Iranian media have hailed the apparent Qatari-mediated prisoner deal between Hamas and Israel as a “defeat” for Tel Aviv. Reports say some of the details of the accord have yet to be worked out. But a four-day pause in fighting in Gaza is expected to take effect on Nov. 24, upon the freeing of at least 50 Israeli hostages in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners. The pause may be extended if more prisoners held in Gaza are released.
