Bahrain, Israel step up security cooperation, citing Iranian threat

The story: Israeli Prime Minister Nafatali Bennett has visited Bahrain for the first time since the two countries normalized relations through the 2020 Abraham Accords. Security cooperation against Iran was a prominent feature of discussions between the Israeli premier and Bahraini leadership. Bennett’s visit follows the signing of a joint security cooperation pact between Manama and Tel Aviv earlier this month.
