The story: Iran has held a state funeral for late president Ebrahim Raisi, foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and several other officials who boarded a doomed helicopter on May 19. Large crowds gathered in Tehran, receiving wall-to-wall coverage on all major state-run television networks. The Iranian capital was also host to dozens of high-level foreign delegations arriving to pay their respects to the deceased, who lost their lives in a chopper crash near the border with Azerbaijan.
