The story: Women in Kuwait have kicked off their own “Me Too” movement against harassment this week, defying conservative norms and the shame and stigma they often face. The campaign, entitled “I will not be silenced” in Arabic, was first set off by US-Kuwaiti social media influencer Ascia Farraj, who shared a video with her 2.6 million Instagram followers.
