The story: Bahrain and Qatar continue to clash—this time on the airwaves. On March 21, Bahrain’s Al-Watan published the first part of a controversial documentary which highlights the past rule of the country’s Al Khalifa family over parts of the Qatari peninsula. This follows the Qatari Al-Jazeera network’s decision to air a program which included testimonies by dissidents allegedly tortured in Bahraini jails in 2015.
