Egypt-Israel-UAE summit paves way for ‘shield’ against Iranian arms

The story: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has hosted Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and the de facto ruler of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MbZ)—for a historic trilateral meeting. 

Israeli and Emirati officials have previously conveyed plans for a regional security framework inclusive of additional Arab partners—displayed by the Negev Summit, which gathered several Arab foreign ministers along with the Israeli and US chief diplomats.
