The story: Iran has slammed a breakthrough deal between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to develop the Arash/Dorra offshore natural gas field, saying that any agreement that excludes it is invalid.

Iran maintains that a part of the Dorra gas field shared between the two Arab states extends into its waters, where it is known as Arash. Tehran says it has the right to exploit the reservoir and insists that it has taken steps to develop it.
