Iran’s Raisi: West facing ‘crisis of decision making’ on JCPOA

The story: Iran’s conservative President Ebrahim Raisi has again insisted that his government is committed to the 2015 nuclear deal. However, impatience is growing both at home and abroad with the Raisi administration's stalling on a resumption of negotiations in Vienna to revive the accord. The president’s remarks also notably came on the eve of Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri-Kani’s trip to Brussels, where he arrived on Oct. 26 to meet with European Union officials for what has been labeled as preparatory talks.
