Saudi authorities spark backlash over mosque loudspeaker limits

The story: Saudi Arabia has sparked anger after moving to limit the volume on loudspeakers outside mosques. While the country’s ministry of Islamic affairs relaxed some mosque loudspeaker restrictions only days ago, the new directive has provoked harsh criticism on social media from conservative Saudis.
