Inside story: Iran, IAEA reach ‘agreement’ in boost to Vienna talks

The story: Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have come to terms on the replacement of cameras at a centrifuge parts workshop. The facility near the town of Karaj was in June targeted in a drone attack blamed on Israel. The initiative is likely to avert an imminent showdown at the IAEA Board of Governors threatened by the US. It is also probable to aid the tough indirect Iran-US talks in Vienna to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

The details: Iran reportedly restarted production at the Karaj plant in late August. IAEA access has since been mothballed, with the Agency denied entry to the site to restore four cameras...
