US says humanitarian aid exempted from Houthi blacklisting

The story: The US has moved to allay concerns that its recent blacklisting of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, founded by the Houthi tribe, may cause a major famine. The US Treasury now says it has exempted humanitarian organizations and exporters of agricultural goods, medicine and medical devices from the repercussions of its decision to list the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation (FTO).
