Zarif cites Putin as warning of Iran losing JCPOA blame game

The story: Amid talk of an imminent resumption of nuclear talks in Vienna, Iran’s former foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif took to the audio chat app, Clubhouse, to offer his perspective on the future of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Zarif warned Iran’s current government that the collapse of the JCPOA, a deal reached between Tehran and global powers in 2015 to restrict Iran’s nuclear capabilities in exchange for sanctions relief, could have grave repercussions for the country.
